May the fourth be with you! On the unofficial holiday known as “Star Wars Day,” the Museum of Flight is going full force with an all-day “Star Wars” takeover, perfect for padawans and seasoned Jedi alike. From lightsaber training and demos to live music from 8-Bit Brass Band, the day is full of activities including a costume contest.
Expect roaming droids, appearances from the 501st Legion cosplayers and activities like face painting and a “Star Wars” story time. Want some lore to go with your lightsabers? Attend the “Spacecraft of Star Wars” talk by the museum’s aircraft restoration expert Logan Shepard, as he talks about the universe’s starships. Speaking of aircraft, there will be a group photo under the Blackbird spy plane!
This takeover’s got more going on than a Mos Eisley cantina on payday — check the activity schedule to help navigate the day.
