🎟️ About The Ticket 🎟️

NO MORE BORING WEEKENDS
Created by the Seattle Times Content Studio, The Ticket uses the power of the Seattle Times Company to cover all the things to do in the Puget Sound region, from rock shows in Belltown to film series on Bainbridge. We’re locally owned and operated and proud of it. We’re real people who live here and have skin in the game.
The Ticket’s crew of writers have spent years covering the area and its happenings, and we believe every neighborhood deserves to be flattered, not just Capitol Hill. Through our neighborhood guides and weekend planners, we’re building a comprehensive local’s guide to the city. (And when locals want to get out of town for a weekend, we’ve got itineraries for getaways, too.)
We advocate for the alternative, the fun, and the overlooked through our top calendar picks, where we promise to only recommend things we really love. But we’ll admit we love a lot of things. We love eating on the Ave, riding the light rail up to Northgate, and staying out late in the CID. We love walking around Beacon Hill and saying hi to the neighborhood cats. We love punk shows, drag bingos, and street parties.
Our writing and editing staff pitch what The Ticket recommends. Any sponsored content is clearly labeled with a blue “sponsored” tag.
Hosting an event you know the city will love? Tell us about it by adding it to our region-wide calendar, powered by our partners at Evvnt.
We want The Ticket to be comprehensive and accurate, so if you have any additions or corrections, send us a note at theticket@seattletimes.com.
