There are many ways to celebrate and enjoy the 50th anniversary of Seattle Pride. Why not do it while having a laugh? Comedy/Bar, a comedy club and bar in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, hosts several ongoing queer comedy shows that happen during June, from stand-up to improv to even a live talk show.

Are you part of the queer community and always dreamed of tryingĀ stand-up?Ā Queers To The FrontĀ at the Capitol Hill Comedy/Bar is a specially curated open mic night geared toward highlighting Seattle’s queer comedy community. šŸŽŸ A Monthly All-Queer Standup Comedy Showcase

Flock!Ā is a new monthly showcase celebratingĀ Seattle’s thriving LGBTQ+ comedy sceneĀ and one of the few all-queer stand-up shows in the city. The show is usually hosted byĀ Juno Men, unless another lucky local queer comedian is selected for the honor. Past performers includeĀ Monica Nevi,Ā Bobby Higley, andĀ Rohini Jayanthi, to name a few. This showcase-style format typically allows for four to seven comedians to perform.

šŸŽŸ A Gay Talk Show with Straight Comedians

Want a queer comedy show that’s also built for yourĀ straight friends? Check outĀ My Straight Friends, a hybrid stand-up comedy and live talk show. Hosted byĀ Ricci ArmaniĀ andĀ Joe Domrowski, the duo tells jokes and takes a deep dive into gay culture with some of their straight comedic friends. Past guests have includedĀ Logan GuntzelmanĀ andĀ John Gardner. Sit in the front row as the comedians play games and explain theĀ gay agendaĀ to curious straights.Ā Ā 

šŸŽŸ Dungeons & Drag Queens Pride Brunch

We’ve mentionedĀ beforeĀ our love for theseĀ monster-slaying drag queens. The adventure continues with a Pride-themed D&DQ brunch! Magic and nerdy shenanigans will ensure during this live D&D campaign. Join Dungeon MasterĀ Paul Curr, his merry bardĀ Carson Cutter, and the fabulous high-rolling queensĀ Issa Man,Ā Kylie Mooncakes, andĀ TinashĆ©a Monet.Ā Toss back a mimosa and celebrate Pride month with one of our favorite bands ofĀ mischief makers.
