Seattle has absolutely no shortage of New Year’s Eve bashes scattered across the city for nearly every taste. But if the thought of jostling your way through throngs of crowds this year to watch fireworks, make merry, and get in the spirit of the new year is already making you sweat, or if you’re a soul looking for a more elevated experience, the elegant evening of your dreams awaits. Nestled in the north side of Eastlake, Imperia Lake Union is throwing their NYE Masquerade Party. This night is one of four out of the year where the venue is open to the public—now’s your chance to party on a particularly swanky, art-deco-adorned private dance floor in Seattle.
You also don’t have to worry about making additional dinner reservations. For an add-on, you can eat and imbibe with a 3-course prix fixe dinner before the main festivities. After dinner, make your way to the dance floor and cut a rug to live performances from All Night Entertainment and DJ sets underneath glittering chandeliers and gilded ceilings until the countdown. You might even be able to glimpse the Space Needle’s show from the rear atrium.
The night’s schedule:
8:30 – 10 pm: Prix fixe dinner
10 pm – 1 am: Dance party with a countdown toast right before midnight!
💁♂️ Pro tips:
👀 Costume masks are strongly encouraged (this is a masquerade), but not required
🎇 Ring in the new year with style! The dress code is cocktail and creative black tie
📒 Consider booking a booth for dinner—it will be reserved for you the whole night
