πŸ“Έ: Forest for the Trees

πŸ“† Sunday, August 4th
πŸ•“ 12 pm – 9 pm
🎟 Free to attend
πŸ“ Myrtle Edwards Park: 3130 Alaskan Way, Seattle

Forest for the Trees 7 returns to Myrtle Edwards Park with music, yoga, and dancing. Not to be confused with the arts organization based in Pioneer Square, this annual, free, all-ages party in the park is a link-up between Flammable Sundays, Uniting Souls Music, and Viva Recordings. Located along the water at the southernmost clearing just north of the Olympic Sculpture Park, the main vibe of Forest for the Trees 7 is to hang out and dance.

Organizers encourage attendees to bring blankets, towels, picnic items, small BBQs, camp or inflatable furniture, and shade structures so you can enjoy the park to its total capacity. The day will start with a Yo Yo Yoga session by Annie Evasick and music by DJ Dane Garfield, so bring your yoga mat for some centering time before dancing. The rest of the evening will feature music by DJs like Ramiro, Peter Evans, D. Guti, Sho Nuph, and more. Check out the complete music schedule below:

2 pm – 3 pm: Ramiro (Uniting Souls)
3 pm – 4 pm: Peter Evans (Viva!)
4 pm – 5pm: Dane Garfield (Flammable)
5 pm – 6 pm: D.Guti (Uniting Souls)
6 pm – 7 pm: Sho Nuph (Viva, Soulelectro, 206 Zulu)
7 pm – 8 pm:Yamanaka (DEPTH, Northern Parallels)
8 pm – 9 pm: Ana-Lucid (Makes Me Human)
