It’s time to get that garden summer ready! Sorticulture is back for a free weekend of arts, entertainment, and gardening goodness, happening Friday, June 9th through Sunday, June 11th in seaside downtown Everett. This year’s fest offers something for everyone with a variety of events and activities—including free ones for kiddos.

Start the weekend off by brushing up on those gardening skills with a class taught by Sunnyside Nursery. If you’ve already got that green thumb, you can chat with some of the other specialty nurseries and florists on site to find the perfect plant for your space or browse the huge selection of hand-crafted garden art and locally made goods (from over 120 artists and makers) to nab a new patio piece.

While relishing in your new outdoor finds, take in some live music and snag a cool drink from the beer and wine garden—conveniently located next to the stage. And of course, we should mention PNW gardening guru Ciscoe Morris will be making an appearance Saturday afternoon. Oh la la!

“Sorticulture is one of our most unique and beloved city events, bringing together such an amazing collection of local artists, nurseries and other vendors, in the heart of downtown Everett,” says Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin. There’s nothing like summer in the PNW and Sorticulture will be the place to celebrate the best parts of outdoor living.
