Seattleites, assemble! It’s time to roll up our sleeves, lace up our sneakers, work up some elbow grease and lend a hand to our fair city.
Organized by the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, Show Up Seattle! Day of Service is an annual day of action. Whether cleaning up a beloved park, caring for a community garden, supporting a local nonprofit or beautifying a space in need of some TLC, it’s a day for neighbors to come together and give back.
“As the Department of Neighborhoods celebrates 35 years of partnering with communities across the city, Show Up, Seattle! is a reminder of what has always made our city strong: neighbors showing up for one another,” says Director of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods Quynh Pham.
Last year, nearly 100 volunteer events took place across neighborhoods in Seattle, each not only making a big difference for the city, but creating a sense of connection, belonging and community. Let’s see what we can build together this year!
