After nearly a decade of work, educator and activist Dean Spade presents his latest book, Love in a F*cked-Up World, a practical manifesto for reimagining relationships in our challenging times.

This isn’t your typical self-help book—it’s a call to action that connects personal relationships with political resistance and community building. Spade says it’s about divesting from societal expectations around romance and partnership, taking our love into our own hands, and preparing for the turbulent road ahead.

A few days after the presidential inauguration, Spade will read from Love in a F*cked-Up World at Elliott Bay Books, with one of my favorite writers and thinkers, Angela Garbes, joining him for a conversation afterward.
