Sunday, June 6 and Monday, June 7: Go to a winery and experience the OG mumble rapper (and, OK, Grammy/Oscar/Pulitzer/Nobel winner) Bob Dylan while picnicking with your entertainment crackers and bottle of Riesling at Chateau St. Michelle. Special guests include Lucinda Williams and Her Band and The John Doe Folk Trio.

Monday, June 8: Don’t you want them, baby? Don’t you want them, ohhhhhhhh? It’s synthesizer heaven at Marymoor Park this summer as The Human League, Soft Cell and Yazoo’s Alison Moyet share all their feelings about tainted love, situations and the like. Woozily swing your head back and forth.

Tuesday, June 9: Make up your mind… Make up your mind. Do you want to rock out to The Toadies out of Fort Worth, suburban Chicago’s Local H or El Paso’s own Sparta? Good news! You can catch them all at the downtown Showbox on the same ticket. Yell along with the angry young man lyrics, however old you may be.

Saturday, June 13: They may be masked, heroic crimefighters, but they also throw a hell of a party. It’s The Aquabats!, the punk/surf/new wave-meshing collective whose shows involve monster attacks and inflatable pizza slices you can crowd surf on. Opening acts at the Showbox include ska soul outfit The Bandalus and Seattle’s own The Lashes.

Thursday, June 25: Even if the only thing you know about them is the cult 2008 documentary hit “Anvil! The Story of Anvil,” there’s no denying the raw power and sensational storyline of those titular heavy metal legends. Headbang with the best of them at El Corazon.

Friday, June 26: If you don’t know about Cardiff’s post-punk band Panic Shack, get to the listening apparatus of your choice and put on their self-titled 2025 album right the f*ck now. Then you’ll know to swing by Pioneer Square’s Baba Yaga and jam to bangers like “Girl Band Starter Pack” and “Tit School” (many complete with full dance routines, which is proverbial music to my ears).

Tuesday, June 30: To be honest, rapper A$AP Rocky really grew in my estimation last year not for his music but for his excellent supporting performances in Spike Lee’s “Highest 2 Lowest” and Mary Bronstein’s “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.” So, if you see some people at this Climate Pledge Arena concert that skew a little older, you can chalk it up to their great taste in cinema.
