Since 2001, The Vera Project has operated as a nonprofit, all-ages space that fosters collaboration through music, art, and radical self-expression. Many classes focus on building skills and opportunities for entering the music industry. Check out the screen printing and fabric printing classes to scratch that crafting itch, but don’t ignore the sound mixingconcert lighting, and other technical arts, such as learning how to DJ (call me DJ Sweet Cheeks). You can learn and hone many skills at Vera, where Seattle’s grunge scene still lives and thrives in this eclectic space.
