PhinneyWood Winter Festival @ Phinney Center

A neighborhood holiday tradition 🎄

📸: PhinneyWood Winter Festival

📅 Saturday, December 7th – Sunday, December 8th
🕓 10 am – 5 pm
📍 Phinney Center: Blue Building, 6532 Phinney Ave N, Seattle
💰 $6 general, $4 PNA members

The PhinneyWood Winter Festival transforms the historic Phinney Center’s Blue Building into a cozy, hyper-local celebration that feels worlds away from downtown’s tourist-filled holiday attractions. This beloved community gathering brings together over 140 local makers for a weekend of shopping, entertainment, and festive activities that showcase the creative spirit of the Phinney Ridge and Greenwood neighborhoods.

Explore a carefully curated selection of handmade goods and treats from jury-selected vendors while enjoying live performances from local musicians. New this year, Piano Nobile presents a special juried art show in their second-floor exhibition space in the Brick Building. Don’t miss the “Print Your Own Wrapping Paper” drop-in workshop, perfect for adding a personal touch to your holiday gifts.

Make a day of it by participating in the “Festival Passport” program—collect stamps from different festival areas for a chance to win a goodie bag filled with vendor creations. Before heading home, stop by the Phinney Neighborhood Preschool Co-op’s wreath sale, where $35 gets you a fresh Pacific Northwest wreath crafted from noble fir, blue-berried juniper, cedar, and natural pinecones—with proceeds supporting the preschool’s scholarship fund.

💁‍♂️ Pro tips:
🅿️ Plan for limited parking—consider carpooling or taking Metro routes 5 or 28
🧱 Visit the Brick Building for the art show and wrapping paper workshop
🍔 Grab lunch nearby at Red Mill Burgers or El Chupacabra
💵 Bring cash for easier transactions with smaller vendors
