🖊 Registration deadline on Wednesday, September 6th
⏰ 2:30 – 6:30 pm
📍 Cal Anderson Park: 1635 11th Ave, Seattle
🎟 Registration: $72.50 – $87.50 per player

Just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean you have to leave playground games to the days of yore.

This September marks the beginning of kickball season for OutLoud Sports Seattle, an adult sports organization. Are you a kickball newbie? Haven’t played a sport in years? No problem! This league is for every size, race, gender, ability, and experience level. And the league is geared toward people who identify as queer or under the LGBT umbrella, allies are welcome to join.

OutLoud Kickball takes over Cal Anderson Park for eight weeks on Sundays, with players facing off against one another in the spirit of good sportsmanship. For 50 minutes, players can kick, run, and sweat to their heart’s content. Weekly practices are not required, and players should come dressed comfortably. (Though coordinated team uniforms are encouraged!) OutLoud’s kickball rules deviate from the standardized rulebook, but experienced players and captains are on hand to teach you everything you need to know.

Now for registration. Though the season starts on Sunday, September 10th, all potential players must sign up by September 6th. There’s no rolling admission, so if you miss this registration period, you’ll have to wait for the spring season. You can join under a couple of different categories, so here’s what OutLoud Seattle recommends:

  • FREE AGENT: Doesn’t have a team, wants to be placed on one
  • SMALL GROUP: Doesn’t have a team, but wants to join with friends
  • TEAM PLAYER: Wants to join a team of friends
  • TEAM CAPTAIN: Wants to create a team of all your friends (with a minimum of 15)

Grab a friend or two and get out there!
