Who says outdoor movie nights stop once the fall hits? Not me! Movies all day, every day, forever until I wither away. And thanks to the monthly movie nights at Freeway Park, you can keep the party going even after Daylight Saving ends. Theyāve already crushed it this fall with the animated chaos The Mitchells vs. the Machines and PG-13 horror classic Tremors, and the rest of their slate is a great excuse to bust out that blanket and a few layers of clothes and head right to the heart of the city. Admission, popcorn, and snacks are free!

If you canāt make the trip down to the famous Goonies house in Astoria, Oregon, and respectfully take photos from the sidewalk, you can always rewatch Richard Donnerās iconic adventure about a group of foul-mouthed kids who get in over their heads as they search for One-Eyed Willyās hidden treasure. You may have seen this comedic swashbuckler many, many times before, but you probably havenāt watched since costar Ke Huy Quan won his Best Supporting Actor Oscar for Everything Everywhere All At Once, so come back around and honor the greatness that is Richard āDataā Wang.

Will Ferrell became a permanent December fixture with Jon FavreauāsĀ four-quadrant Christmas comedy blockbusterĀ Elf, about a human raised in the North Pole. Itās a movie that weaponized Ferrellās SNL-honed oversized oaf caricature by injecting it with a heaping dose of holiday heart. Itās one thing to yell all your lines, but itās quite another to build genuine chemistry with a game ensemble of goofballs, most notably a golden-haired Zooey Deschanel, Ed Asnerās pitch-perfect Santa Claus, andĀ a kindly Claymation narwhal.
