This fall, take yourself on a personally paced, self-guided amble, meandering into quaint cottages, enchanting seaside properties and charming shops, all while enjoying Cannon Beach’s coastal scenery along the way.
Returning for its 23rd year, the Cannon Beach Cottage Tour is back for a three-day celebration of coastal history, architecture and community, offering a unique opportunity to experience Cannon Beach from the inside out.
“This is not just a tour of beautiful homes. It’s a chance to experience the heart of Cannon Beach in a way most people never get to see,” says Cannon Beach History Center & Museum executive director Liz Scott. “It may look like a large-scale event, but it’s truly a labor of love.”
🪻 Friday, Sept. 11 | Opening Night Benefit Bash | 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Kick off the weekend at the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum with an evening of live music by the RJ Marx Jazz Trio, locally crafted bites from Rainy Day Boards & Bakery and The Chocolate Café and drinks from The Wine Shack and Pelican Brewing Company. Guests can also browse and bid in a lively silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind items and experiences (admission is by donation).
🪻 Saturday, Sept. 12 | Historic Cottage Tour | 12:00-5:00 p.m.
Step inside Cannon Beach’s most charming and storied homes during this self-guided tour through the midtown neighborhood and presidential streets. From original beach cottages to beautifully restored residences, each home offers a rare glimpse into the coastal lifestyle and history that define this beloved community. Maps are available at the museum beginning at 12:00 p.m.
🪻 Sunday, Sept. 13 | Art & Tea at the Museum | 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Wind down the weekend with a relaxed art and tea experience at the museum. Enjoy light refreshments in a cozy setting, along with a creative program designed to inspire and connect. This intimate gathering offers a peaceful close to a memorable weekend by the coast.
