Since I was a child first exploring the world of Harry Potter, I’ve always dreamed of joining Hogwarts. The new Harry Potter immersive experience located at Bellevue’s The Shops at The Bravern, called Harry Potter: Magic at Play, allows me to do just that: walk through the halls of Hogwarts, following in the steps of my favorite characters. The attraction submerges you in the world of Harry Potter and lets you encounter each scene coming to life.
When entering, you start with a tour of 4 Privet Drive before wandering through platform 9¾ to the Hogwarts Express. Then, you can enter through the gates of the Great Hall, walk into the Forbidden Forest, and learn Wingardium Leviosa in Charms class. You’ll get sorted into your house under the Sorting Hat, brew famous potions, and take flight with Quidditch practice that determines what position is best for you.
With Harry Potter-related play areas for kids throughout the adventure, plus endless photo-op spots for all, this experience is excellent for kids and adults alike. Whether you’re a Harry Potter enthusiast or just interested in a blast from the past, you should find the Magic at Play experience to be a perfect addition to your day.
