📆 Weekends in July: 12th–14th, 19th–21st, 26th–28th
🎟 Tickets start at $28 | Reserve here
📍 Northwest Railway Museum: 9320 Stone Quarry Rd, Snoqualmie

Thomas the Tank Engine has been beloved by several generations of children now, having debuted back in 1946 in Wilbert Awdry’s Railway Series of books, predating my own parents’ birth by three years (!). Since being introduced into the world, there have been 26 books, 24 seasons of television and 16 movies about Thomas and his North Western Railway friends, not to mention countless toys. He’s friends with the likes of Ringo Starr, George Carlin, Pierce Brosnan…and perhaps you can be his friend, too!

How? Come to the Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie this July and meet that blue engine and his friends for Day Out with Thomas: The Bubble Tour. It’s part of Thomas’ international tour along heritage railways, and the top attraction is getting a train ride (pulled by Thomas himself!) through our state’s lush forests all the way to the Railway History Campus and then onto the gorgeous Snoqualmie Falls. (The ride and the accompanying activities take about two hours.) And speaking of activities, there are oodles of things to do, including bubble bouncer-ball racing, an outdoor maze, a meet-and-greet with railway controller Sir Topham Hatt, a scavenger hunt, an Island of Sodor temporary tattoo station, and a delightful bubble zone

It’s not every day you get to meet a bonafide celebrity. And this time, he’s coming to you. | Reserve tickets here
