Things get a little spooky the Sunday before Halloween as the Museum of Flight transforms into the Museum of Fright for a family-friendly seasonal event where costumes are highly encouraged as you explore one of the best air and space museum collections in the world.

Start your day at the face-painting station in the Great Gallery, surrounded by more than three dozen historic aircraft. Document your family’s Halloween style at the photobooth, then take on the challenge of the giant coloring sheets or some brain-teasing activities from the Seattle Universal Math Museum.

To really embrace spooky season, head to the Bats Northwest booth to learn about these nocturnal fliers. Then see some real-life potions, explosions and slime in action at the Mad Science Show from Club SciKidz.

Museum of Flight members get early access to the galleries and the Freaky Face Painting station starting at 9 a.m.
