2025 Emerald City Hoedown @ Renaissance Seattle Hotel

Get your boots a-scootin’ ๐Ÿ•บ

๐Ÿ“ธ: Emerald City Hoedown

๐Ÿ“… Thursday, March 27th โ€“ Sunday, March 30th, 2025
๐Ÿ“ Renaissance Seattle Hotel:  515 Madison St, Seattle (Downtown)
๐Ÿ’ฐ Weekend and day passes available during in-person registration only.

Forget walkin’โ€”if it were midnight, Pasty Cline would be right here on the dance floor. And she’d be boot-scootinโ€™ and do-si-doinโ€™ her way into a weekend of LGBTQIA+ country-western dancing at the Emerald City Hoedown. Entering its 16th year and hosted by the Rain Country Dance Association, this is your opportunity to twirl, two-step, and line dance until your boots beg for mercy.

The four-day dance event welcomes dancers of all levelsโ€”from beginners to seasoned prosโ€”to the hoedown, which includes:

๐Ÿค  Dance workshops: Attend workshops on everything from the country waltz to spinderella for those who love to twirl!
๐Ÿ‘‹ Meet ‘n’ greets: Attend one of the men’s, women’s, or trans/nonbinary socials to find a partner for the dance.
๐ŸŽถ DJs and dance parties: Four nights of dancing including early morning “Eye Openers” and late-night “After Hours” parties.
๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ•บ Live performances: Watch the best of the Rain Country Crew perform a variety of dances during exhibitions.

Focused on cultivating joy, learning and community, Rain City Country Dance Association works to support the LGBTQIA+ country-western dance scene in the Seattle area and greater Pacific Northwest beyond the Emerald City Hoedown. You can keep the fun going after the weekend by attending one of the many local dance events and lessons held throughout the year. Talk about a hoedown and hootenanny!
