February 1st – April 30th

I jumped on the FRIENDS bandwagon later than many of my fellow millennials, via the ten-season DVD box set owned by a college roommate. At that time, a lighthearted show about a patchwork group of twenty-somethings living in NYC felt vaguely aspirational, comforting in its consistency. Now that I’m old(er) and wise(r), it’s apparent they didn’t have a clue

For ten years, the crew consumed a steady diet of pizza, bagels, and Chinese takeout—laced with leg wax and trifle that tasted like feet—even with Chef Monica Gellar in their midst. Is it normal to be concerned about the gut health of fictional characters? New Yorkers today are surely benefiting from the widespread presence of Sweetgreens

… I’m still jealous of that apartment, though. What a vibe. Scope out the chillest digs in TV history at The FRIENDS Experience: The One in Seattle. You’ll walk through some impeccable set recreations: pull up a chair in Monica and Rachel’s cheery teal kitchen, play foosball at Joey and Chandler’s pad, and cozy up on a couch at Central Perk. Pro tip: pick up a bag of the 1,154 Cups Blend from the onsite retail store, then track down and enjoy with International Delight’s newly-released FRIENDS coffee creamer
