A tradition of tassels

As of this year, the local burlesque troupe The Atomic Bombshells has served this Valentine’s Day-themed show for 15 years. J’ADORE! A Burlesque Valentine returns to the Triple Door this February—and before I get into the details, you should know to snatch tickets soon. They sell out faster than these gurls twurl

The Bombshells are a troupe that could give Cupid a crush. They’ve spent 20 years putting their heart and blood into this art form and are, let’s face it, BAD! (In the best way.) Internationally celebrated super duo Kitten N’ Lou, Miss Exotic World’s Miss Indigo BlueINGA, and more will bring J’dore to the stage, the floor, chairs, and they may even sass and seduce the ceiling, bringing new meaning to the roof is on fire.

In addition to acts from the main crew, the cast includes special guests like The Purple Lemonade, a local performance art collective, and the NYC Queen of Burlesque, Poison Ivory. More guests include Seattle dance star Keyes Wiley, the Them Fatale of Drag and Burlesque Moscato Sky, and Seattle Drag Phenom Betty Wetter. So, they’ve got dragdance, and divas on the list. Oh, and dinner. The staff serves food and cocktails straight to your seat. (Maybe order a chocolate mousse for your sweetie.) Love is in the air.

PS: Read this adorable piece that highlights Bombshell founders Kitten N’ Lou. J’DORE A GOOD LOVE STORY 🥰
