Have you ever wanted to sail into the wild blue yonder with a full sweeping orchestra chronicling your every move? I’m sure that’s possible on the Puget Sound with enough time, preparation, and money, but for those of us indoor kids who get seasick in a bathtub, there’s a better option! One Piece Music Symphony at Benaroya Hall, right in the heart of Downtown Seattle, will make your seafaring dreams come true.
One Piece, one of the longest-running and most popular anime series of all time (over 1,100 episodes!), follows the exploits of Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates as they venture around the globe in search of buried treasure. But that’s easier said than done, as a menagerie of evildoers and the long arm of the law lurk behind every wave. But one day, perhaps they will find their grandest bounty: the fabled One Piece.
Relive the show’s greatest swashbuckling moments on the big screen as the Seattle Symphony interprets Kohei Tanaka and Shiro Hamaguchi’s bombastic score for one of Seattle’s grandest halls. All of your favorite moments from the show are here, including fan-favorite songs such as “We Are!,” “Oitsumerareta,” “Sai sai saikyo!!!,” and “Binks no Sake,” plus a few brand-new pieces you won’t find anywhere else.
Performing at Benaroya Hall, the Seattle Symphony unleashes the power of music, brings people together, and lifts the human spirit.
