🛝 Lynnwood Recreation Center
📍 18900 44th Ave W, Lynnwood
🕓 Monday – Friday: 5:30 am – 9:30 pm
🕓 Saturday: 7 am – 9 pm
🕓 Sunday: 9:30 am – 6:30 pm
“Self-Care Sunday” doesn’t have to cost you: the best things in life are (almost) free. Since the Lynnwood Recreation Center is a public facility, neither membership nor city residency is required for admission. A $9 single-visit pass includes access to all amenities plus one drop-in fitness class—think Zumba, yoga, or taekwondo.
The facility was remodeled in 2011 and is LEED Silver Certified. You could probably spend all day here working on your fitness. If I were you, I’d hit the cardio/weight room after class, then wind down in the recreation pool: it features two swirly water slides—one body slide and one for inflatable tubes—and a lazy river loop. If you’ve got more angst to work out of your system, book one of the racquetball courts or do the lap pool/sauna/hot tub combo. Bring your own lock or rent one for $1. Avoid on weekends unless you don’t mind sharing space with the local youths.
