Drinking at a sports game? Who could have conceived of such a thing?! Jokes aside, nothing beats a valid reason to tip up your cup and throw your hands up, not just to get a fun little buzz going, but to celebrate all things Oktoberfest. (Actual legit Oktoberfest starts a week later, but the Mariners will be out of town and no shame wasting a September afternoon at T-Mobile Park.)
If you purchase a special online ticket ($72 Club Level/$61 Main Level/$44 View Level), it comes with a nicely goofy, Mariners-themed beer stein (which you can pick up after the game) along with a voucher for a drink at the ‘Pen in center field. But even if you don’t feel like partaking in a beverage or two, it’ll still be a (hopefully) bright, sunny day against the defending World Series champions Texas Rangers already entering their flop era.
