That’s right, it’s the organization’s annual Anime Day, where T-Mobile Park will celebrate all things anime and manga while you imagine that game unfolding in front of you is actually a battle for control of the universe. Picture it, trident-wielding pirates versus gun-totin’, horsebound government agents. (Yes yes, the Rangers are an important part of Texas history, but even in baseball, ACAB.) And with a special online ticket purchase ($46 Main Level/$33 View Level), you’ll receive a delightful Mariners-themed anime aloha shirt (go to Section 339 in the first third of the game), while $5 of every ticket sold will help benefit Sakura-Con and the Asia-Northwest Cultural Education Association (ANCEA).
