Movies at the Mural @ Seattle Center

Movies at the Mural returns to the Mural Amphitheater lawn at Seattle Center. With the Space Needle as a backdrop, relax and enjoy movies on a 40-foot screen. Starting at dusk (around 9 p.m.), movies include classics like “The Princess Bride” and newer favorites like “Wicked.” Each screening includes a short film created by Cornish College students before the feature. Get there early to grab a bite at one of the food trucks onsite since seating is first come, first served.

Center City Cinema @ Seattle Parks

For 22 nights, summer through fall, seven Seattle parks like Cal Anderson and Hing Hay, will host movie nights. Bring blankets, chairs and snacks to make yourself comfy, though some locations will feature food trucks and community activities. Films range from locally made documentaries like “She Marches in Chinatown” to classics like the Halloween double feature of “Beetlejuice” and “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice!”

Summer outdoor movies @ Bellevue Parks

The city of Bellevue is hosting two outdoor movie locations in parks this summer. Tuesday evenings at Bellevue Downtown Park and Thursday evenings at Crossroads Park. Each event includes live music, interactive entertainers and vendors giving away prizes starting at 7 p.m., with the films beginning at dusk. And these events are pet friendly!

Grab a blanket, invite your friends and bring your dog to one of the Seattle area’s beloved summer traditions — Movies at Marymoor Park. This Redmond series brings food trucks, DJs and family-friendly fun to an unforgettable movie experience. Held on Wednesday or Thursday nights through the sunny season, catch throwbacks like “The Goonies” and recent releases like “Wicked.”

Dive-in Movies at Wild Waves @ Auburn

Beat the heat and catch a flick at the Wild Waves summer movie series. Thursday evenings, the theme park transforms its wave pool into an open-air cinema with a giant LED screen. Guests can float or relax in lounge chairs while watching family-friendly films like Disney’s “Mufasa.”
