Ball culture combines self-expression with community for trans and queer people of color. Strike A Pose, a monthly “mini-ball series” held by Julian Lanvin, will pay homage to the Queen with looks inspired by Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour at the Club Renaissance Ball, held the night before Beyoncé comes to Seattle. Pre-party attendees can also snap Renaissance-themed photos while a live DJ spins. “Best dressed and door prizes will be given throughout the evening,” writes Press Box.
