⏰ 10 pm – 2 am
📍 Julia’s on Broadway: 300 Broadway E, Seattle
🎟 Presale $10 | Door $20

Ball culture combines self-expression with community for trans and queer people of color. And according to its liner notes, Beyoncé’s Renaissance album is an homage to her Uncle Johnny. “He was my godmother and the first person to expose me to a lot of the music and culture that serve as inspiration for this album,” she wrote.

Strike A Pose, a monthly “mini-ball series” held by Julian Lanvin, will pay homage to the Queen with looks inspired by Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour at the Club Renaissance Ball, held the night before Beyoncé comes to Seattle. If you haven’t got tickets to the show at Lumen Field, you’ve got two chances to win tickets here.

Seattle Beyhive, are you set? Wardrobe ready? Have you got the Blue Ivy dance down? And don’t forget to make sure your crew has practiced y’alls mute. Because we will be graced with the greatest gift ever. Beyoncé, The Virgo Queen, will perform in the Emerald City during Virgo season. And she has a special request.

“Virgo Season is upon us. This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows 8.23 – 9.22!” she wrote in a message to fans. “We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other’s joy. Virgo Season together in the house of chrome. See you there! Your B at RWT[Renaissance World Tour]”

And if you want to get buzzed before the show, The Press Box has you with a Club Renaissance party. Bring that BIG ENERGY as you celebrate dancing and singing to Beyoncé’s best songs. Organizers of this independent fan event promise a menu featuring themed specialty drinks and food that honor the Queen Bee. Pre-party attendees can also snap Renaissance-themed photos while a live DJ spins. “Best dressed and door prizes will be given throughout the evening,” writes Press Box.

Tickets to this event also include a post-concert extravaganza at Press Box that goes until the bar closes, so the party doesn’t have to stop. Did someone say, “We gon’ f*ck up the night?” If you couldn’t snag tickets to Lumen Field, don your silver swag to become part of the human disco ball at this Bey Bash

As one of the last shows in Beyoncé’s tour, which started in Sweden, Seattle has the unique opportunity to help end the Summer Renaissance before the Queen returns to her castle. (And until she comes back with Act 2.) Remember, this revival is planned for three acts. So, if this album was the Setup, the hive has yet to witness the Confrontation and Resolution……
