Tarot time 🔮
Visit the new tarot card shop located on the underground portion of Pike Place Market called “DownUnder.” Here at Tarot Crow, owner Andrew Corax stocks a massive collection of tarot and oracle decks (more than 200 titles), as well as his handmade, vegan candles, incense, bath bombs and body oils, all crafted without synthetics and made with natural botanicals.
The entrepreneur couldn’t have found a more perfect space for his shop, which he describes as a cozy, goth tree fort lined with cedar boughs and heavy industrial fixtures. He deems the market “an inherently liminal space” that he finds to be “very old and always new, a little haunted and very alive” — in other words, the ideal spot to land. Tarot readings are fairly limited; booking in advance is required. Classes and group readings can be scheduled daily at 6 p.m.
*Corax is an ethical vegan, so his shop is 100% free of animal products. He donates 2% of monthly gross revenue to animal welfare nonprofits.

Bloody brilliant 🧛♂️
Give blood for a great cause this holiday season and get rewarded with line-skipping perks at Georgetown Morgue, a premier haunted house experience. The spooky venue has partnered with Bloodworks Northwest on Oct.16 and 23, giving those who donate blood the chance to get whisked to the front of the queue (along with three friends). Sign up online to ensure you have a spot. (You still need to purchase general admission tickets to the Morgue, and skipping the line must be used on the same day as blood donation.)
*Bloodworks Northwest just launched its sixth annual Music’s In Our Blood campaign, with a goal of engaging 20,000 new and returning blood donors during the next four months.
