Ask any Swiftie: Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is a big deal. It means so much to the fans who love her, whether they’ve been listening for the past 17 years or are in their Midnights Era and just starting their journey.

While we wait for Taylor to visit Seattle this July, the city has a surprising amount of Taylor Swift events, from dance parties to laser shows to a tailgate party. As The Ticket’s resident Swiftie, I’ll report which ones are worth your time. Now read on and get Ready For It.

Taylor Swift Concert “Par-TAY!” @ The Press Box Seattle

Saturday, July 22nd – Sunday, July 23rd

Saturday, July 22nd – Sunday, July 23rd • 3 pm – 12 am

As Taylor prepares to take over Seattle’s Lumen Field for two enchanting nights in July, the crowds will likely go wild as they shine and sing along to her impressive three-hour, 44-song show.

If your social feeds look like mine, it’s been nothing but Taylor Swift since March, watching Swifties around the country enjoying—IMO!—the most iconic tour in history. There’s something special about jumping on live streams to see what surprise songs she performs each night, the costumes people have spent countless hours creating, and the friendship bracelets everyone trades at the shows. The people who survived the Ticketmaster Great War truly are the lucky ones, and now it’s our turn to experience the magic in the air.

If you missed out on tickets (same) or are looking for things to do before the tour, a Taylor Swift-themed “par-TAY” is happening at The Press Box near the stadium. Produced by Xperience Tailgates, the party will happen before, during, and after the concerts, with Era-themed cocktails, photo ops, merch, and even a costume contest. Pregame the concert here or hang out with other fans at this venue near the stadium if you couldn’t get your hands on Taylor tickets.

Laser Taylor Swift @ Pacific Science Center

Fridays at 9 pm, Weekdays at 2 pm

PacSci’s Laser Dome is one of the world’s largest dedicated laser domes. It regularly hosts a 60-minute show dedicated to Taylor Swift, playing hits from all 10 albums from our favorite girl. Laser Taylor Swift currently plays weekdays at 2 pm and Fridays at 9 pm, allowing Seattle Swifities of all ages to kick back and enjoy 10,000 watts of concert sounds. When you enter the blank space, you can lie on the ground to get the full experience of seeing the 360 visuals that tell a Love Story to accompany each of her songs. Pro Tip: Bring your own pillows and blanket if you want to take the floor space. And you’ll want to get there early if you want to snag one of those spots. Otherwise, there are comfy chairs for you to lean back in.

Speak Now Listening “ParTAY” + Dance Night @ Nectar

Saturday, July 8th

Saturday, July 8th • Doors @ 9 pm

She can finally let Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) out of the vault—and now’s her time to shine. If you’re looking for a night to dance through all of Taylor’s eras, 22 and Good 4U is hosting a party at Nectar in Fremont to allow us to do just that. Starting with a listening party for the newest addition to the “Taylor’s Version” family, we’ll hear our favorite Speak Now classics, plus seven new tracks.

With the highly anticipated rerelease of the album, the excitement will be felt by all the local Swifties. There’s something special about gathering with people who love her as much as you, getting to sing the songs you’ve been singing for the past 17 years in unison. We’ll surely feel like the kings and queens as we dance the night away, and the kingdom lights shine just for me and you.

Taylor’s Version: Speak Now Re-Release Party @ Neumos

Friday, July 7th

Saturday, July 8th • Doors @ 9 pm

Friday, July 7th • Doors open @ 9 pm

It’s time to celebrate the best thing that’s ever been hers. That’s right, Taylor has rereleased her third album, Speak Now, which means she officially owns the rights to it. And Neumos is giving all the local Swifties a spot to gather on release day to dress up and honor the beauty of the album (Taylor’s version).

Per usual, we can expect the venue to go over the top with decorations, photo opp wall, top-tier drag performances, and maybe even a themed drink or two. But what makes Neumos’ Taylor night the best Taylor night, IMO, is its energy. As soon as I walk in, I always feel the magic in the air. Everyone in the room is welcoming. It’s a testament that her music can bring people together.

And just like at the Eras Tour, people here go all out with their costumes, makeup, and whole ensembles. It’s a great way to show off your favorite Era or wear an outfit that didn’t quite make it for the tour. Of course, the event will play hits from every album, so expect the night to be sparkling.
