Too Late — You Missed It!

Friday + Saturday, December 16 + 17 5 – 10 pm 21+

With over a hundred shops, local brewery stands, live music, a photo shoot with Santa, and a giant cocktail bar, we’d reckon the annual Winter Solstice Night Market is your best chance to do last-minute Christmas shopping—while drinking!

First hosted in 2018 as the simple “Winter Beer Festival,” the fest’s purpose was to bring Washington’s local brewery scene under the hangar. But now, it’s expanded and combined with Seattle Night Markets to provide us with the aptly named: “Winter Solstice Holiday Night Market and Winter Beer Festival.” Creative!

For the market portion: Expect plant vendors, pastries, and vintage clothes, among a long list of things. As for drinks, you’ll get 15 regional breweries for your 21+ taste buds to try. Breweries like Reuben’s Brews and Fremont Brewing will make an appearance. Tickets come with a free drink ticket, for $15 each. You can buy a “Happy Hour Pass” for $25, which gets you two cocktails and a tote bag. All the alcohol sales benefit SLU Chamber and Seattle Pride, and there’s lots of free parking. So there’s nothing really stopping you from attending one of the best excuses to drink this holiday season.
