Port Townsend’s biggest thing is back

Aug 26 Aug 28

When the British indie rock duo Wet Leg went viral on TikTok earlier this year with their quirky, deadpan single Chaise Longue, reactions were mixed. Some were confused, others critical, but mainly, listeners found that they couldnt get the infectiously-catchy tune out of their heads. Since then, Wet Leg has released their debut self-titled album, which earned them international attention (even Harry Styles digs the duo, covering their song Wet Dream on BBC Radio). Luckily for all of us, theyve finally journeyed back to the Pacific Northwest, where you can catch them at THING later this month in Port Townsend.

Thethree-day festivalpresented by STG and Adam Zacks will take place the weekend of August 26th at Fort Worden and features an assortment of musical performances from local favorites includingEnumclawandShaina Shepherdto indie classics likeFaye Webster,Hiatus Kaiyote, andWet Leg (duh). So grab your camping chaise longues and celebrate the end of summer with one last festival hurrah.
