📍Washington State Fairgrounds: 110 9th Ave SW, Puyallup
🕰️ June 30th – July 2nd
💰 Free Admission

If you love fair food but don’t want to wait until the fall, The Taste Northwest showcases local and international food, billing itself as the ultimate summer food fest. And notably, entry is free!

Over 60 food vendors, from craft eateries to specialty food trucks, will offer $5 taste samples, with full entrees available. Beyond the food, there are five stages full of music, comedy shows, and even a Top Chef-like cooking competition. There’s also art and a “Singing Kitchen Chef Show” that combines cooking with crooning. A lot is going on here. For those 21+, five locations provide beer, cider, wine, and specialty cocktails. Basically, this place is stuffed: expect an indoor carnival, face painting, rides, axe throwing—plus additional VIP events for things like boozy flower arranging and DIY charcuterie board building.

While admission is free, tasting, parking, and activity packages are available online in advance. Packages offer discounts, but quantities are limited.
