The show’s next installment happens this coming Saturday, January 7th, at Halcyon Brewery in Greenwood. It should help ya deal with the post-holiday humbug.
The show’s set-up seems simple—jokes, then tokes, then more jokes. But have you ever been Too High to Function? This Dope Show features a spectrum of the highly functioning, from awkward pauses to lost trains of thought. Expect an array of amusement as performers attempt their second set. Remember: It’s okay to giggle at performance issues. They probably are too.
Produced by comedian Tyler Smith, the show’s location changes, with upcoming installments happening in Tacoma and Bend, Oregon. The lineup varies from locals to touring headlines, with past performers like “Big Irish” Jay, TJ Miller, and Jessimae Peluso.
Smoking during the show is obviously a no-no (except for the entertainers). But what happens before is on you! Halcyon’s “Kim Cheese” kimchi and cream cheese hotdog, served with kewpie mayo, will cure munchies that might hit.
