💰Free/donations welcome

Welcome the summer with a summer bonsai solstice at the Pacific Bonsai Museum. One of just two extended-evening openings held each year, the event combines tranquil bonsai zen with sunset serenity. Set in a forest gallery space, wander through tons of the miniature trees while enjoying a fresh juice or snack from the food vendors on-site. This celebration is a chance to connect with nature while developing an appreciation for the living artwork that is bonsai.

Event highlights:

🧘Sound baths to get into a meditative state with Mary Clymer
🧘Tai chi demos from the Federal Way community center tai chi group
🧘Gentle chair yoga sessions focused on stretching with Three Trees Yoga
🧘Shop at a pop-up boutique with local plant and art vendors

Whether you’re a bonsai enthusiast or just in search of a serene way to start the summer, this event is a chance to remember how small moments can feel big by letting these little trees lead the way.

💡Pro tips:

🅿️Parking is free and ample, but carpool if possible.
💵Bring a cash donation: admission is free, but donations keep the museum going.
🧢Dress in layers as the weather can cool quickly, even in summer.
