In its 43rd year, Summer Fest is West Seattle’s local summer bash that brings live music, local eats and family fun together mere minutes from downtown. The event kicks off on Thursday night with a Summer Fest Eve event for locals, featuring music at numerous locations and drink specials.
The three-day festival is packed with performances on two stages, showcasing everything from indie rock to kid-friendly music. Friday night’s headliner is alt/indie rock singer Jenn Champion and Saturday night’s is indie blues rock trio Reignwolf.
Beyond the music, this fest is family-friendly and hyper-local, with over 100 vendors in the shopping zone, which includes food trucks, sidewalk cafés and a beer garden to quench your thirst.
🎶Fest highlights:
- Art Walk on Thursday during Summer Fest Eve with restaurant and bar specials.
- Sidewalk cafés at places like Matador and Shadowland so you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere.
- A kids zone with free arcade games, a robotics area, giant inflatables (tickets required) and Seattle Reign staff.
- Music from bands like School of Rock, The Dusty 45s and Seattle girl group THEM.
