In celebration of the release of the second edition of Solum, Westland Distillery is hosting a big ole party on Saturday, February 10th.  The event will have music from DJ Evie of KEXP and local band Spirit Award as well as small bites provided by Layers Green Lake.  Made from peated malt, Solum is a sibling of the award-winning Garryanna in Westland’s Outpost Range, a series of whiskeys exploring new materials and methods in the creation of single malt whiskey.  With Solum being made from peat sourced from Shelton, WA, Westland hopes the party will “match the taste and aesthetic of Solum” and highlight an “especially and authentically Northwest product.”
