Get those engines ready, car fans! 🏎️ Now appearing at LeMay – America’s Car Museum through the end of October, the exclusive Rare & Luxurious exhibit featuring beautifully restored motor machines from the last 100 years. There’s something for everyone!

Experienced car enthusiasts will enjoy the showcase of fine automobiles restored to their full glory, from the 1930s Duesenberg Model J to the 1967 Lamborghini Countach. Local history buffs will appreciate the 1923 Lincoln, the first car to cross the former Tacoma Narrows Bridge, lovingly referred to as “Galloping Gertie” for its flexibility in strong winds. (Rumor has it, the same 1923 Lincoln was first car to cross the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge when it finished completion in 2009!) Auto lovers can feast their eyes on newer luxury models like the shiny, red 2008 Alfa Romeo and the 2024 Ferrari Daytona.

“The goal of this exhibit is to showcase the very best of automotive luxury and rarity,” said Jake Welk, Marketing Manager at LeMay – America’s Car Museum. “These vehicles were never intended for the everyday driver. They were — and still are — symbols of status, performance and ambition. Rare & Luxurious invites visitors to step into a world where no detail was spared and every curve was carefully crafted.”

Whether you’re looking forward to the 1917 Crane-Simplex, masterfully crafted for John Rockefeller Sr. as a birthday present from his son, John Rockefeller Jr., or excited to check out the 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra, once owned by racing legend Bob Bondurant, the Rare & Luxurious collection features magnificent vehicles from the last decade that are sure to captivate visitors of every age and interest.

LeMay – America’s Car Museum is the destination for automotive enthusiasts to experience the past, present and future of the automobile.
