Fan Appreciation Weekend @ T-Mobile Park

Mariners vs Rangers 🍻

📸: Mariners | Oktoberfest

📆 Thursday, September 28th – Sunday, October 1st
📍 T-Mobile Park: 1250 1st Ave S, Seattle

It’s a fight to the finish as the Mariners, the Texas Rangers, and the Houston Astros vie to win the American League West. At the time of writing this (late August), they are in a three-way tie for first place. The Rangers currently have a slight advantage due to having a winning record against the M’s and, if the season ended today, they would get a first-round by when the playoffs start. But if there’s any team that never says quit, it’s our dear Marineros.

Sometimes, the schedule works out as if screenwriters were inventing it. And lo, the end of Seattle’s regular season is against their biggest competition. Four days, four games, the AL West and the AL wildcard on the line, all with a packed house and maximum tension. Will Julio come out on top and save the day? Will Texas’ Marcus Semien (good first name) show up our nigh unstoppable bullpen? Will it be J.P. Crawford or Corey Seager who makes the coolest damn play at shortstop you’ve ever seen?

The series also coincides with Fan Appreciation Weekend, with Fan Appreciation Night on Friday (fireworks! free posters!), Season Ticket Members Appreciation Night on Saturday (hell yeah, people who pretty much live at T-Mobile Park!), and Kids Appreciation Day Sunday afternoon (Mariner Moose will be working overtime!).

And if the M’s happen to have locked a playoff spot by the time the series rolls around (*knock on wood*), consider coming to T-Mobile Park to give a huge sendoff to the post-season and celebrate a hell of a year.
