A bonafide mood boost 😌

Thursdays, August 24th through September 14th ‱ 4:30 – 8 pm

Seattle’s Waterfront Park is quite the hub during the summer, and especially nice as the city begins to wind down with the day. With stunning views of the city, the Olympic Mountains, and Elliot Bay, it’s not hard to find yourself unwinding too as you watch the sun set, breathing in the ocean air. Adding to its feel-good energy starting August 24th is KEXP Beats & Eats, an evening of live-spun music and roller skating every Thursday through September 14th—no need to head to Southgate Roller Rink. If roller skating on the pier sounds a bit intimidating—no worries—there’ll be plenty of food trucks and a beer garden to grab a drink from while you enjoy the music.

In partnership with Friends of Waterfront Seattle, KEXP’s Beats & Eats is set to feature KEXP DJs Riz Rollins, Mike Ramos, and official DJ for the Seattle Seahawks when they won the Superbowl, Supreme La Rock. Serving Afrobeats and big island vibes for week one is DJ Lace Cadence.

The lineup
August 24th: DJ Lace Cadence
August 31st: DJ Riz Rollins
September 7th: DJ Supreme La Rock
September 14th: DJ Mike Ramos

And did we mention it’s free? If you’re in need of a little mood booster and want to make the most of your evenings before summer ends, then get on down to Waterfront Park.
