A familiar story: You just clocked out from your Sunday shift. The weekend rush was a warzone. You’re ready to come home (a chill bar) and enthusiastically embrace your wife (a fruity little cocktail that’s 20% off). You can finally smile again as you step foot in Gold Bar for Industry Night every Sunday and Monday.

For only $7, Gold Bar tops its Gold Standard Smash Burger with a buttery bun that kinda looks like a boob (my opinion!), and that pleases me. You can pick any cheese you want, and golden hand-cut fries are included. My friend loves the spicy aioli with the fries (plus the karrage-style nuggs, plus the artichoke dip). In a world where it’s hard to believe in anything, we believe in this aioli.

What about the drinks? You could branch out and be bougie and get the Froze Rose. Oh, it’s cold outside? Warm up with pisco, Earl Grey tea, bitters, and spices in the bar’s Forest Fog. Hot Toddy? We don’t claim her no more.

Trust Gold Bar will always bring a vibe they can maintain. The bar is a little tiny, but you’ll be under a disco ball! Size means nothing if you know how to use it. Also, go to the bathroom. It’s one of the coolest bathrooms in Seattle. Music depends on who has AUX behind the bar, but they’re dedicated. They’ve got themes like hardcore or ’00s RnB, and they know what they’re doing! Leave the stress of the weekend behind. In 2023, we’re yassifying Mondays.
