This POC, queer, women-ownedĀ community pottery and art studioĀ is located in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District. What was once a historic fortune cookie factory is now a lovely studio space centered around community and a generous sliding scale pricing to make art accessible. Instructors offerĀ ceramics classesĀ (one-offs) andĀ workshopsĀ (multi-week) in either handbuilding or wheel throwing. The throwing class I attended was well-instructed, super fun, and very messy (all me). The studio also offers risograph classes, a digital screen printing technique commonly used to make zines. Your fortune says, ā€œSupport local!ā€œ
