Too Late — You Missed It!

You missed it! This event has passed.

Suffering from Beyond Wonderland post-festival depression? Dying to rave until the sun goes down? Then take a day trip (literally) down to Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion for this year’s Day Trip. The all-day music fest takes place on Sunday, August 7th, and comes just in time for the cultural revival of house music (thanks, Beyoncé and Drake). Grammy-winning Canadian electronic and house DJ KAYTRANADA will headline as part of his summer national tour, and he’ll share the stage with Duke Dumont, Purple Disco Machine, and Anabel Englund, among others.

One notable aspect of Day Trip’s lineup (aside from its headliner being a legendary producer who’s worked with names like Freddie Gibbs and Kendrick Lamar) is that the festival features performers from Chicago to Australia. Tony H hails from Panama, Purple Disco Machine from Germany, KAYTRANADA from Canada, and James Hype and Duke Dumont are from the UK. An international house fest right in our backyard! The event combines influences from all over to make it one of the highlights of this August’s music calendar.
