Candy Cane Lane @ Ravenna’s Park Road NE

Tis the season 🍭

📆 Ongoing until Christmas

A neighborhood tradition for the residents of Park Road NE, tucked between NE Ravenna Boulevard and Ravenna Park, Candy Cane Lane is one of Seattle’s most classic holiday activities. Many houses on the street are lit by lights and displays, plus cute inflatable characters—and even a Nutcracker-themed carousel in the center of the street’s roundabout.

Bring nonperishable food donations if you can! There’s a collection bin for the University District Food Bank at the exit back to Ravenna Boulevard. The food bank also accepts hygiene supplies and pet food (especially cat food).

While the street is open for cars, you can also enjoy Candy Cane Lane on foot. There are special nights where no cars will be allowed. Pedestrian-only nights remaining for 2023 are Thursday, December 14th, and Thursday, December 21st. These nights also feature performances and entertainment with Tim Lane’s Holiday Jazz Music at 6 pm on the 14th and the UW Marching Band at 6:30 pm on the 21st.
