Each year, Seattle’s Can Can Culinary Cabaret, usually found in Pike Place Market, brings a spooktacular burlesque show to downtown’s Triple Door. Now in its 17th year, “This is Halloween” brings Jack Skellington’s tale to the stage, transporting the audience to Halloween town. Being a Pumpkin King can be a bore after a while, so Jack takes a hike through the forest—and finds another holiday town nearby.

Inspired by the Tim Burton classic The Nightmare Before Christmas, the show adds something new each year. These twists—along with singing, dancing, creative costuming, and a cast that thrives on making cabaret creepy—have turned “This is Halloween” into a Seattle tradition.

The culinary offerings at Can Can Culinary Cabaret are worth mentioning. Each show offers full dinner service and drinks at your seat. Delight in Southeast Asian dishes prepared by Wild Ginger
