Ready to discover your new favorite sparkling summer tradition? Hint: It’s an easy weekend getaway with a spectacular finish.

Bremerton Bridge Blast is a free festival on the Bremerton waterfront with high-energy bands, food, vendors and a bridge fireworks show that will blow your mind.

Promptly at 10:15 p.m., the Manette Bridge across the Port Washington Narrows will light up with a fireworks extravaganza. Catch the show from the Evergreen Rotary Park picnic areas, the Louis Mentor Bremerton Boardwalk or even your own seafaring vehicle in the Bremerton Marina or on the water.

But Bremerton Bridge Blast is much more than a fireworks show. It’s a two-day festival (the largest bridge fireworks festival on the West Coast) that features 90 vendors, food trucks, a beer garden with views of Sinclair Inlet and a full lineup of live music throughout the weekend.

“You can literally step off the ferry and walk straight into the celebration. That’s part of what makes Bridge Blast so unique,” says event producer Sunny Saunders. “We’re seeing more and more people make a full day out of the experience — hopping on the ferry, exploring downtown Bremerton, enjoying the waterfront and ending the night with fireworks. Stay the weekend, we got you covered.”

From ferries to fireworks, Bremerton Bridge Blast is becoming a must-visit summer tradition in the Pacific Northwest.
