Black history isn’t just about honoring the past—it’s about boldly imagining the future. At an upcoming Black History Month event called “Black Beyond,” MoPOP will celebrate how Black creators have used science fiction to envision worlds where freedom and possibilities are limitless. This one-day celebration showcases how artists reshape narratives through film, literature, and art.
