Whatā€™s summer without at least one garden visit to catch the dazzling blooms? Arts in the Garden at Bellevue Botanical Garden allows you to indulge in tasty food trucks, live musical performances, gardens, and the arts. The 53 acres of gardens, woodlands, and wetlands provide a background for 30 artists at this festival, including a variety of 3D garden art

As you browse the displays throughout the beds, remember that the art is available for purchase whether you want a duck from Daveā€™s Metal or glass flowers from Mala Glass Art. You can also score repurposed items like a 1941 Ford hood turned yard art by Rustic Relics

Several smaller gardens comprise the botanical garden, each with unique aspectsā€”like the fuchsia garden, which has 100 different kinds on display. The rock and rain garden houses wildflowers and hemlock; a traditional Japanese gate leads to the Yao Garden in honor of Bellevueā€™s sister city in Japan. And donā€™t forget the dahlia display. These flowers are a summer spectacle.
