Dig your way out of the seasonal depression sinkhole with some jokes from local comedian Alyssa Yeoman at the Here-After this January. A hit in the Seattle comedy scene, they’ve played numerous festivals, from Bumbershoot to NW Black Comedy Festival to The Stranger’s Undisputable Geniuses of Comedy. Yeoman stands out as not only hilarious but also as one of the few non-white dude comedians working the stage. And speaking of white men, check out this clip of Yeoman:

As many local comedians might, Yeoman also speaks about their love for weed—but they put their money where their mouth is by producing the show Puff, Puff, Laugh.

In addition to standup, Yeoman also produces shows, does sketches, writes, and co-hosts the podcast Is This Normal? They’re definitely one to watch, so see them now while tickets are under twenty.

The night also offers at least two other humor hackers. Ev Jensen will be the night’s feature, and Chris Mejia will host. If you’re new to him, maybe start with this clip:

Three comedians, two joking their way through dating as a BIPOC person, all for less than a cocktail + tip in most Belltown establishments. What more do you want?
