Every year, The Vera Project puts on the Great Pumpkin Beer Festival at Seattle Center to raise funds for the organization. And for their 20th anniversary, they’re doing it BIG. Down at Fisher Pavilion, 80 of the pumpkin-est beers and cider from breweries near and far will be on tap to bring you into the coziness of fall. One fest ticket gets you five beer tickets and a 2024 GPBF goblet—not too shabby.

But the best, most dramatic portion of the festival belongs to the Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off, which happens the weekend before. Local farmers and growers from around the region have spent the summer growing their biggest, heaviest pumpkins for the competition. The winner gets hollowed out, scorched, sealed, and filled with tons of pumpkin beer at the fest. Additionally, there will be a costume contest (the theme is ORANGE, and the winner will be crowned pumpkin royalty), food trucks, music, and other pumpkin-themed surprises.
