A big furry meetup 🐺

January 5th – 8th

Anthro Northwest isn’t just a furry convention. It’s socializing, dancing, gathering, education, community. Expect: activities like fursuit-making rooms, a “traditional dance” competition, a Pokemon Go furries meetup, a screening of The Bad Guys movie, a workshop on preventing burnout, and a “formal masquerade” dance. If you’re trying to let your party animal out, be prepared for the Anthronational Film Festival or, depending on the night, the “Art Jam” set to be grooving til 2 am. Are you an artist who doesn’t know how to start the first steps of your freelance business? There’s a panel on that too.

For furries, there’s no doubt you’ll find friends here, even family. If you’re visiting from out of town, take a break from the Hyatt by grabbing your new dogs and heading up the Hill to Raygun Lounge for Seattle-made ciders and a well-stocked tabletop gaming library. Looking to cause a little mischief? Maybe mosey over to Shortys in Belltown. There you’ll find clowns, superb hot dogs, pinball. Go out and get em, tiger!
