Where to See Drag in Seattle Every Night of the Week
We're spoiled with slays 👠

A very observant person once tweeted this:
being a drag race fan and living on capitol hill is so fantastic bc everyday is a meet and greet

Every day does feel like a meet and greet for drag fans in Seattle. Drag Race queens regularly perform at bars like Capitol Hill’s Queer Bar or SoDo’s The Comeback (AKA the spiritual successor of R Place, RIP). Local drag also happens every night of the week. Most of it’s focused around Capitol Hill but shows pop up all over, from Fremont to White Center.
While there’s an almost endless list of monthly drag shows, we’ve organized some of Seattle’s best weekly and biweekly shows, curated by day.

Not on the list? 🧐
New weekly shows appear all the time around Seattle. Add your show to our calendar then ping us at theticket@seattletimes.com and tell us about it.
Mondays
Let’s start our week with YAY—one of the newest entries on this list, and it’s already a hit. Hosted by Kylie Mooncakes, this show features rotating performers 2nd and 4th Mondays at Cha Cha Lounge in Capitol Hill. “No thoughts, just good drag” is the tagline, and the last show featured performers from up and down the West Coast. The vibey, subterranean Cha Cha Lounge has recently started hosting more drag events. In addition to serving drag, they serve street tacos and sangria.
Tuesdays
Drag is all over the region, and West Seattle and White Center to its south have become home to a variety of shows in the last few years. Notably, the Skylark Lounge and Cafe hosts a weekly all-ages bingo night with Lashes cast member Cookie Couture called Belle of the Balls. They’ve got great food here—even house-made pickles.
Want more bingo? Try the weekly drag queen bingo at Unicorn hosted by Isabella Extynn.
Another popular Tuesday night show is Mary, hosted by Jane Don’t at Queer Bar. Originally started as an after-work happy hour show at Chop Suey, the show quickly grew and moved over to Queer Bar, which hosts drag nearly every night of the week. Stick around after Mary for Queereoke.
Tip 💰
You tip the performers at drag shows. Typically at least $1 a number. Bring $10 for the evening to be safe. Bring $20 to be extra safe. Or, I don’t know, give every performer a $20 and make it rain.
How do you tip? It depends on the venue. Some places, like Kremwerk, are known for having their audience crumple up their $1s and chuck them at the performers. Other clubs have the audience patiently hand off ones to the queens as they pass. Every show could have slightly different customs. Just look around and do what other people are doing.
Wednesdays
Cha Cha Lounge and Queer Bar both have great biweekly events on Wednesdays. Cha Cha Lounge is home to Heels, hosted by Betty Wetter every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. It starts at 10 pm, making it more of an industry show. Come and hang out with the girls as they may or may not get wasted. Also on Wednesday: Werk Wednesdays at Queer Bar. Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, Kitty Glitter and Augusto Lyon host a “walk off,” which asks for $5 entry and the winner gets it all. The more who play, the more one gets paid.
Thursdays
You can reliably catch drag from 8 pm to 11 pm every Thursday at Queer Bar, with Betty Wetter returning to host bingo at 8 pm. Stay for Mothership with Irene the Alien and Arrietty. Heads-up: Queer Bar’s catwalk-like stage is bright. Bring sunglasses if you’re, you know, stoned. You can reserve a booth ahead of time or sit at one of the tables. Dance nights start at 11, with DJ from Baby Van Beezly.
Monthly shows 👠
There are so many drag shows in Seattle, and most of them happen once a month. Some you should check out:
Leche (1st Wednesdays at Unicorn),
Bronze Babes (2nd Wednesdays at Queer Bar),
Black Carousel (3rd Wednesdays at Unicorn),
High F@ggotry (4th Wednesdays at Unicorn),
BurlesKaraoke (4th Wednesdays at Queer Bar),
Bad Drag (3rd Thursdays at Bad Bar),
Tush (4th Thursdays at Clock-Out Lounge),
Sissy Butch (3rd Fridays at Kremwerk),
Kickback (4th Fridays at Kremwerk),
T4T (2nd Saturdays at Timbre Room),
West End Girls (last Saturdays at Skylark),
Seattle Soul (2nd Sundays at Unicorn),

(Don’t see your show? Add it and send us a note!)
Fridays
Now that we’ve entered the weekend, we’ve got a few cast shows to choose from. The first is Lashes, the longest-running drag show in Washington state, which happens at The Comeback. Formerly at R Place, Lashes host Ladies Chablis is joined by Luchi, Cookie Couture, and Kung Pow Meow to get you started in SoDo, with food specials and a very large dance floor. Stay after for go go boys and a classic, big nightclub feel.
Also in SoDo: The new disco-themed nightclub Supernova hosts Thank God It’s Friday, a club night with big DJs, a giant disco ball and rotating unicorn, and drag performances hosted by Monday Mourning popping up around midnight. This show goes late, til around 4 am. You can also reserve booths and feel like a TikTok model in one of their very designed rooms.
The other big cast on this night is Mx., Queer Bar’s signature show, which happens every Friday and Saturday. The cast is stacked, with (take a deep breath) Irene Dubois, MyAikó, Kitty Glitter, Stacey Starstruck, Caramel, Arrietty, Issa Man, Jane Don’t, and Kennedy Colby, and often RuPaul’s Drag Race girls showing up. Get tickets ahead of time, especially on Drag Race nights. And make sure to tip the local girls too. It’s very rude to only tip RuPaul queens.
Saturdays
You’ve got Mx. again on Saturday nights, and you’ve also got brunches to choose from. The drag brunch at Dreamland Diner in Fremont has become one of the hottest tickets in town, with spots selling out well in advance. The food here is supremely good (that crunchy wrap supreme), and the vibes are very fun, so snag a ticket in advance for you and a table when you can. There’s also Julia’s, a longtime drag brunch and cast show on Broadway in Capitol Hill.
Sundays
The brunches continue with Mimosas Cabaret at Unicorn, featuring 30-minute draggy stage productions. And there’s another big drag brunch down south: The Royal Flush: Queens Are Wild drag brunch happens at the Great American Casino in Tukwila. Want trivia? Betty and Harper’s Body of Knowledge happens over at Solo Bar every Sunday. They’ve got prizes and a fun community. Phew! We’ve gotten to the end of the week. Now start over at the top.
